We are so excited to celebrate with you across the sea in Spain. Each and every one of you mean something so special to us and our story, and we are overjoyed to have you join us on our special day. With Shane's Basque roots and Camille's love for travel, it only felt right to join together with our most intimate friends and family in a place where the tapas are fresh, the music is loud, and the wine is always flowing.

We cannot begin to express how thankful we are that you are willing to fly across the world for us. We hope while you're in Spain and beyond, you take the time to enjoy all that Europe has to offer and visit new cities and countries that have always been on your life list. More than anything, we want this to be a trip that you remember for many years to come.

OUR STORY

Music, friends, and the mountains have always been the binding forces between Shane and Camille. The couple met on a dance floor-converted dining room, surrounded by mutual friends, cheap wine - raising a ruckus on an otherwise peaceful San Diego night. Although they would only exchange a brief hello, Shane says he can still remember Camille was wearing a bright yellow top and white pants, and he was struck by how she entered the room.

Now, let’s get one thing straight…all wedding bells aside, the couple's first date was a BUST. Shane & Camille spent the date conversing about their interests, their goals, their families.. normal date stuff. The problem? Camille was up and out of there in less than an hour!

She still defends that Shane did nothing wrong, and he seemed like a good guy, but the sparks just weren’t flying. It simply wasn’t the right time. Despite her hasty exit, Shane looked at his roommate, shrugged it off, and cockily said “She’ll be back one day... I’m not worried.”

A month later, their two paths crossed when they joined an impromptu ski trip with their mutual friend Bailey. Seeing each other on the mountain, albeit unexpected, lit the inevitable spark between them. They spent the rest of the ski day showing off and tracing each other’s tracks down the hill.

Stuck in traffic leaving the mountain, the drive turned into 6 hours of crawling cars down to the valley. Bailey fell asleep in the back seat, and Shane and Camille filled the silence with conversation and playlist shuffles of their favorite songs. The sound & fury never stopped.

A week later on another ski trip (this time with a few dozen friends), Shane & Camille became a couple officially. Many of those same friends were there when they got engaged at Big Sky Montana almost 3 years later to the day!

When Shane got down on one knee, he said: “Our story started on the mountain, I want to continue that story with you for the rest of our lives. ” Camille had no idea the proposal was coming, so the face you see in the picture is one of total shock and awe (not to mention completely frozen because it was -10 degrees!):
